Meet the team at LDAssurance
Stephen O’Kane
Stephen has significant audit and consulting experience. He graduated from university with a Bachelor of Business and commenced his career with Deloitte in the audit division, where he worked on audits of several public companies. After completing his qualification as a chartered accountant, he worked at KPMG in the business services area, working on large private client’s audit and taxation affairs. In this period he also completed a Graduate Diploma in Taxation. He established his own practice with several other partners and grew a substantial audit and accounting business. He continues to service his clients with continued growth in his professional skills and expertise. Stephen’s specialties include external and internal auditing, superannuation, and the not for profit audit sector. He acts as the audit service provider on behalf of the Victorian Auditor-General for several public authorities. Stephen is a member of the Audit Committee of the IECnet international accounting affiliation.
Daniel Wills
Daniel graduated from Deakin University with a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Accounting, Finance and Financial Planning and holds a Graduate Certificate of Commercial Law (Financial Crime Control). He commenced his career with our firm and has gained experience in audit, financial reporting, business advisory and taxation. He is a key leader of our firm, and is responsible for direct client communication and service, and the production of our key audit outputs. He has completed his chartered accounting qualification, and is a Registered Company Auditor. He acts as lead manager on several of our commercial and not for profit audit clients and has an extensive knowledge of the issues faced by these entities. He is fully conversant in key issues including financial and management reporting, risk management, and corporate governance.
Aulia Pratama
Aulia (Oli) is a very experienced auditor in the firm. After completing his Bachelor of Commerce with Distinction at Deakin University, he commenced with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Jakarta in 2008. His roles at PWC were almost entirely working as an auditor on large listed companies in various industries. After two years he returned to Australia to continue his professional studies and audit career. He has since completed the professional accountants program in Australia, and is an ASIC approved Registered Company Auditor. His experience and skills are in planning and preparing external audits, reviewing internal controls and accounting processes, and preparing, reviewing and analysing financial statements.
Magdalena Woznikiewicz
Magdalena is a qualified chartered accountant with several years’ experience in providing audit and assurance services. She has completed a Bachelor of Arts, and a Bachelor of Business. She has spent some years overseas in various business and teaching roles. She is an audit manager of the firm and performs key audit responsibilities on many of the firms main audit clients. Magdalena specialises in servicing our Victorian Auditor-General’s clients as well as having expertise in corporate audits, superannuation funds, charities and private ancillary funds.
Matthew Amenta
Matthew is an auditor with the firm. He has completed a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) at RMIT and has completed his Chartered Accounting post graduate degree. He is responsible for many of our audit clients work, has expertise in corporate and not for profit audits, self managed super fund audits, and assists with the completion of all audit procedures on client matters.
Luke Wills
Luke is a chartered accountant and a senior auditor with the firm. He has completed a Bachelor of Business. He is a key member of our audit service delivery team, with skills in commercial entity audits, self managed super fund audit, and ACNC audits. He directs and assists with our financial auditing requirements for our other team members.
